BITE.

An app that makes group dining decisions simple.

During my third year studying graphic design at Vancouver Island University, we were challenged to take elements from an existing app and create something new. I was inspired by the common struggle my friends and family face when deciding where to eat, so I decided to design an app to solve this problem. I incorporated a card-swiping feature similar to the dating app Tinder. The app allows each person in a group (or just yourself if you're dining solo) to swipe through a variety of restaurants in a specified area, based on the group’s preferences. Once all the information is collected, the group is presented with the most popular choice, along with second and third place options. The result was an engaging and user-friendly app concept that made decision-making more fun and efficient, offering an easy solution for groups looking to find the perfect place to eat.
